The SCJDS, formerly the Nambour Hospital Resident Medical Officer's Society, is a not-for-profit organisation representing the doctors in training of the Sunshine Coast Health and Hospital Service.

Our roles include;

• Holding social events regularly across the year including End of Term Drinks, the annual SCJDS Ball and the Christmas Party.

• Liaising with the SCHHS hospital executive and medical administration to advocate on behalf of doctors in training in a range of issues including allocations, fair rostering and access to leave and PDL.

• Providing information and a platform for new doctors to the coast to find accomodation, community and support.
